This build has started as a stock 1971 Dodge Demon for a transformation of a Hemi powered Pro Sportsman car, using the chassis from the Revell 1955 Pro Mod car, trimming all around the rear valance part of the frame to get the correct shape for a snug fit,cut down the top of the firewall 3/16 of an inch and used the original dash from the Demon kit, sanded all the instruments off and made a plastic strip and painted it aluminum and decaled the gauges in place, cut down the rear roll bar area for the rear window to fit, altered the front suspension to allow the front wheels to line up in place, using the tires and rims from the 55 Chevy, painted all the chassis Cardinal Red and dropped the dash down enough for the windshield to fit, used the 55 block and turned it into a Hemi, drilled out the plug holes in the valve covers and painted them black. Also cut a small block out from the cowl section for the carbs to work. The distributor and wires along with a supercoil has been ordered. Also glued on the rear spoiler wing, looking awesome.
